Town Clerk Posting Requirements

*NOTICE - "The Open Meeting Law requires all meetings of a public body be posted at least 48 hours prior to such meeting, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays."

The Town Clerk's Office closes at Noon on Fridays. Any posting sent after 12:00pm on Friday will not be considered "posted" until we receive it on Monday morning (or the first day of return if a long weekend).

Example: That would mean a Monday morning posting would not meet the Open Meeting Law requirements until Wednesday.
