RECENT UPDATES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS


On June 6, 2020 Governor Baker announced Phase Two of the Massachusetts Re-opening Plan to begin on June 8, 2020. The Plan can be found here.

On May 21, 2020 the Town Moderator issued a declaration postponing Town Meeting to Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 12pm. Click here for that declaration.

On May 18, 2020 Governor Baker announced Phase One of the Massachusetts Re-opening Plan. The plan can be found here.

On May 1, 2020 Governor Baker issued an Order  EFFECTIVE WEDNESDAY, MAY 6th requiring face masks or cloth face coverings in public places where social distancing is not possible. This applies to both indoor and outdoor spaces. Exceptions include children under the age of 2 and those unable to wear a mask or face covering due to a medical condition.

Governor Baker has closed all schools through the end of the 2019-2020 school year.


Massachusetts 211

Massachusetts residents are urged to use 2-1-1 for information, resources, and referrals regarding COVID-19. Operators are staffing this hotline 24/7 and translators are available in multiple languages. Residents with questions can dial 2-1-1 from any landline or cellphone, or use the live chat option on the Mass 2-1-1 website (mass211.org).
