The Board of Health, in cooperation with the Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project, provides mosquito control services to Westborough residents and businesses.
An Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach is used, featuring education, source reduction and larvaciding. Adultaciding using an Ultra-Low Volume (ULV) spray is used as a last resort for biting adult mosquitos. Residents that wish to have their property sprayed should contact the Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project.
Information on Mosquito-borne diseases and steps you can take to protect yourself against mosquito bites can be found on the Massachusetts Department of Public Health webpage.
