Middle School Basketball (Grades 7 & 8)
Middle School team players are not eligible to play: Any player who signs up with us and makes the Middle School team, will receive a FULL REFUND.
BOYS:
The number of registrations and volunteer coaches will determine the number of teams. Last year, we had 8 boys teams. Practices begin in January (night to be chosen by volunteer coaches). Games also start in January and are held on Saturday mornings at the Gibbons Middle School. This is not a travel league (all Westboro players).
GIRLS:
The number of registrations and volunteer coaches will determine the number of teams. Last year, we had 5 girls teams. Practices begin in January (night to be chosen by volunteer coaches). Games also start in January and are held on Saturdays mid day at the Gibbons Middle School. This is not a travel league (all Westboro players).
Fees:
$70, $20/family late fee if received after deadline.
Cash or Check payable to Westboro Recreation. If a financial hardship exists, fee reductions may be requested in writing to the Recreation Director. You may register for ONE other family in addition to your own, but you must bring in their form already signed and with payment at the time of registration.
Refund Policy:
In fairness to everyone, our policy will be strictly adhered to. Following registration and prior to first week: 100% for verifiable medical emergencies (doctor’s note required) and 50% in ALL other ituations. Refunds for verifiable medical emergencies after first day will be considered on a case by case basis. No refunds in all other situations.
Volunteers:
Average commitment is 2-4 hour per week. Our goals is two coaches per team.
