Thanks to the generosity of the many business, clubs, and families in the Westborough community we had another very successful Holiday Store.  We especially want to the thank the Westborough Library for hosting the store again this year.  It really was a magical holiday space to help these families out.  We distributed gifts amid many happy tears and hugs of gratitude.

"Fill Backpacks to Fill Bellies"
Eagle Scout Project for Patrick O’Neil

A special thanks goes out to Patrick O'Neil, of Boy Scout Troop 100, Westborough, who held local food drives asking for specific food items to fill backpacks to distribute to local children in need so they can have lunches and snacks for the school vacation week.  Patrick gathered enough food to fill 130 backpacks.  In each backpack he has placed a variety of breakfast, lunch and snack food items such as:  Granola bars/Cereal bars, Pancake mix with syrup,Pop tarts, Raisins, Oatmeal, Individual cereal, Mac and Cheese, Peanut Butter, Jelly/Fluff, Spaghetti O’S/Ravioli, Canned Soup, Tuna, Cookies, Pringles, Microwave popcorn, and Fruit cups.  In addition, each back pack had a $15 gift card to Wal-Mart.
